Sojos Grain Free can also be used as a fruit & veggie supplement with your dog’s current food.
Feeding Guidelines:
The following feeding guidelines are for adult dogs. Contact us for puppy and senior dog feeding guidelines or see the back of your Sojos Grain Free Dog Food Mix.
Up to 25 lbs – 1/2 cup Sojos, 1 cup meat, 2 cups water.
26-50 lbs – 1 cup Sojos, 1/2 cup meat, 1 cup water.
51-75 lbs – 1 1/2 cups Sojos, 1 1/2 cups meat, 3 cups water.
76-100 lbs – 2 cups Sojos, 2 cups meat, 4 cups water.
Preparation Guidelines:
Combine Sojos Grain Free, meat, and water. Let soak at least 15 minutes (or preferably overnight in the refrigerator) and serve. You can mix a four-day batch ahead of time and refrigerate in a sealed container or keep larger batches in the freezer. Shake bag occasionally to keep ingredients mixed. For senior dogs we recommend once-a-day feeding. For adult dogs and puppies we recommend twice-a-day feeding. If you’re feeding twice-a-day feeding, split the amounts above in half.
Adding Variety:
We believe in variety and encourage adding fresh or steamed veggies and other healthy foods, in addition to meat to Sojos Grain Free. Try mixing in a teaspoon of chopped greens, carrots, or other natural foods such as cooked brown rice, yogurt or eggs. AVOID citrus fruits, onions, and spicy foods. For dogs with special dietary needs, be sure to consult your veterinarian or contact a holistic veterinarian near you. To find a holistic vet in your area, call the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association at (410) 569-0795.
Transitioning Your Dog to Sojos Grain-Free:
It’s crucial to switch your dog to Sojos gradually. We recommend at least a two-week transition (4-6 weeks for older, ill, or finicky animals). Start with just a tiny bit of Sojos, raw meat, and water mixed with the food you’re currently feeding and gradually increase each day as you decrease your dog’s old food.
