The zippered outer cover of the Basic™ Bed is a sturdy recycled cotton/recycled polyester canvas, finished with a handsome black nylon trim. This outer cover surrounds a zippered cotton/poly liner filled with SmartFill®, a 100% recycled fiber. The entire bed (outer cover, inner liner, and SmartFill) can all be machine washed and dried.

Outer covers can be purchased separately for replacement or for a new look. Thus a pet owner can replace the outer cover when needed instead of discarding the entire bed.
